Kiitos kuluneesta vuodesta kasvattieni kotijoukoille, kanssani yhteistyötä tekeville kasvattajille & rodulle sydämensä menettäneille,  näyttelyissä minua avustaneille ja koiriani esittäneille, koiriani näyttely- ja työmatkojeni aikana hoitaneille, Remarkabull pentuja kärsivällisesti odottaville... tiedän, odottavan aika on pitkä... sekä kaikille teille jotka olette tavalla tai toisella osallistuneet kanssamme haku- sekä rauniotreeneihin. KIITOS! Te sekä koirani teette tästä mielekästä ja inspiroitte minua yrittämään kohti entistä parempia tuloksia. Menestystä vuodelle 2007 :-)

Thanks for this year goes to homecrews of the Remarkabulls, breeders who I work closely with & others who have devoted their hearts to this breed, everyone who has helped me during shows and handled my dogs, those who helped to take care of my dogs while I travelled for shows or because of my work, future homecrews of the future Remarkabulls for your patience... I know the wait feels like forever... and all of you who one way or another have taken part to Search & Rescue training with us. THANK YOU! You and my dogs make it worthwhile and inspire me to try harder:-) May you have a successful year 2007!

Porthos on Viron voitokkain uros bullmastiffi 2006. SUUR õnnesoov Hilja & Porthos!
Porthos sijoittui hyvin myös muissa kategorioissa ollen Viron Mastiffiyhdistyksen 11 rodun Top Winning Junior Dog #2, Import Dog #4, Junior Dog with Highest score #3 ja Dog with highest score #3. 

Porthos is Top Winning Bullmastiff Dog 2006 in Estonia. BIG congratulations Hilja & Porthos! He was also placed in other categories and countig all 11 breeds Estonian Mastiff Club represents finished with Top Winning Junior Dog #2, Import Dog #4, Junior Dog with Highest score #3 ja Dog with highest score #3.

Vuoden 2005 pistekilpailun tulokset on vihdoin saatu julkisuuteen. Aatos sijoittui urosten erittäin tasokkaassa kilpailussa mukavasti viidennelle sijalle ja Selma puolestaan narttujen puolella neljänneksi.
Vuoden 2005 todelliset tähdet olivat kuitenkin Selman ja Ollin Remarkabull E-pennut!!!

Vuoden 2006 aikana Wiivi, Porthos, Saxon ja Saurus ovat myös näyttäneet että hyvät sijoitukset eivät ole jääneet pelkästään pentunäyttelyihin! Porthos on jo  parin maan valio, usean maan juniorivalio, juniorivoittaja, voittaja ja ryhmäsijoittuja sekä erikoisnäyttely BIS sijoittuja. Yhdessä nämä neljä koiraa keräsivät vuoden 2006 aikana käsittämättömän hienosti 21 sertiä (joista yksi MV-06 näyttelystä), 7 varasertiä (joista yksi EUV-06 näyttelystä), 8 cacibia, 1 vacan, 15 ROP- ja 5 VSP- sijoitusta. Lähes kaikki sertit tulivat siis PU1 tai PN1 sijalta!! Lisäksi tuli menestystä ryhmissä & erikoisnäyttelyissä ja Porthos ehti kerätä vielä vuoden alussa muutaman juniorisertin sekä junROP ja junBIS1-sijoituksen. Saurus ja Saxon esiintyivät jokaisessa vuoden 2006 aikana esitetyssä viidessä KP:lla palkitussa kasvattajaryhmässäni (joista 4 palkittiin myös ROPilla), Wiivi yhdessä ja Porthos kolmessa. Saurus, Saxon & Porthos olivat mukana sekä EUV-06 että V-06 ROP kasvattajaryhmässä. Lisäksi Saurus suoritti raunioilta soveltuvuuskokeen ja läpäisi Kiva Koirakansalainen -testin.

The results for Top Winners in 2005 are finally out. Aatos took a very good 5th place in Top Winning Dog 2005. There was some excellent competition for the top spots. Selma finished 4th in Top Winning Bitch 2005.
The real stars for us in 2005 were pups from Selma's & Olli's Remarkabull E-litter!!!

During 2006 Wiivi, Porthos, Saxon and Saurus showed us that success was not only for the puppy classes. Porthos is already a champion of couple of countries, holds several juniorCH titles as well as Winner and Juniorwinner title. He has also placed in groups and speciality BIS competitions. Together these four took home an astounishing 21 CCs (one of which from WW-06), 7 RCCs (one of witch from EUW-06), 8 cacibs, 1 rescacib, 15 BOB & 5 BOS. Almost all CCs came with BD1 or BB1 placement!! in addition there were success in groups and specialities and Porthos also got couple of junCCs, junBOBs and junBIS1 placement in the beginning of 2006. Saurus and Saxon were in all my five Breeder's Groups which during 2006 were awarded with Prize of Honour (4 of which also got BOB Group), Wiivi in one and Porthos in three. Saurus, Saxon & Porthos were part of my EUW-06 and Finnish Winner -06 BOB Breeder's Groups. Saurus also passed his aptitude test for debris search and his Canine Good Citizen test.

Porthos osallistui tänään KV-näyttelyyn Liettuassa. Tuloksena AVO ERI1 PU1 VSP SERTI CACIB & LTU MVA! Tuomari:

Porthos was in the ring for INT show in Lithuania today. He won open dog with excellent and finished with BD, BOS, CC, CACIB and LTU CH! Judge:

Aatos, Saxon, Porthos, Saurus ja Minttu osallistuivat 10.12.06 Voittaja 2006 näyttelyyn ja tuloksena oli erinomaisia sijoituksia 51 ilmoitetun koiran joukossa. Aatos voitti kovatasoisen valioluokan ERIllä ja sijoittui PU2 sijalle ja sai VACAn. Porthos voitti niinikään hyvätasoisen avoimen luokan ERIllä ja Saurus sijoittui samassa luokassa ERIllä kolmanneksi. Saxonille tällä kertaa AVO EH ja Mintulle JUN H.

Yhdessä pojat muodostivat Voittaja -06 ROP kasvattajaryhmän jonka arvostelu kuului "Tyyppi erittäin yhtenäinen. Päätyyppi hyvin samanlainen. Hyvät etuosat kaikilla, hyvät ylälinjat ja erittäin tasainen ryhmä. Hyvät liikkeet" Tuomari: Guy Spagnolo, Australia
ISO KIITOS kasvattieni kotijoukoille hyväkuntoisista koirista. Kiitos koirien esitysavusta Miia, Sanna ja Anne. Kiitos videoinnista Jannelle :-) Oli mukava tavata ystäviä ja tuttavia - ensi vuonna taas uudestaan!

Aatos, Saxon, Porthos, Saurus and Minttu were shown in Finnish Winner 2006 the 10th Dec, 06 and got several excellent placements among the 51 bullmastiffs entered.  Aatos won a high quality champion class with excellent and finished 2nd BD & resCACIB. Porthos won a very good open dog class with excellent and Saurus placed 3rd in open dog with excellent. Saxon got very good in open dog and Minttu good in junior bitch.

Together the boys took home Finnish Winner 2006 BOB Breeder's Group and their critique was "Very uniform in type. Very similar in head type. Good fronts throughout, good toplines and very even in group. Good movements" Judge: Guy Spagnolo, Australia

Remarkabull E-pentue täytti 21.11.2006 2 vuotta. Onnittelut Tauno, Saxon, Porthos, Wiivi & Brutus :-) Saurus juhlisti syntymäpäiväänsä nakkikakulla.

Remarkabull E-litter had its 2nd birthday the 21st Nov, 06. Congratulations Tauno, Saxon, Porthos, Wiivi & Brutus :-) Saurus celebrated his big day with a sausagecake.

Porthos was shown in Minsk Belarus last weekend. In the all breed show the 18th Nov, 06 he won open dog with excellent and finished with BD, CC & BOB. Judge: Mr. Homosuridze, Russia. 19th Nov, 06 Porthos was shown in the INT show where he placed nicely to 2nd place in open dog with excellent. Judge: Joanna Szczepanska - Korpetta, Poland. Porthos' CC waits approval to make him BLR CH.

Osallistuimme eilen Jyväskylän KV näyttelyyn seuraavin tuloksin:
Tuomari: Jari Laakso, 30 ilmoitettua koiraa
Aatos VAL ERI2 PU2 VACA, Saurus NUO ERI1 PU3 SERTI, Saxon AVO ERI2 ja Minttu EH2. Yhdessä koirat muodostivat ROP kasvattajaryhmän. Kyseessä oli Sauruksen ensimmäinen serti. Näyttely oli Mintun ensimmäinen hallinäyttely ja Minttu jaksoi upeasti koko pitkän päivän ja oli isossa hallissa kuin kotonaan :-) Kiitos Aatoksen ja Saxonin kotijoukoille erinomaisessa kunnossa olleista koirista sekä Miialle, Annelle, Sannalle ja Johannalle avusta koirien kanssa. Erityiskiitos toiselle Sannalle matkaseurasta + avusta näyttelypaikalla.

Travelled to Jyväskylä INT yesterday with the following results:
Judge: Jari Laakso, 30 dogs entered
Aatos was 2nd in CH class with excellent and got BD2 + resCacib, Saurus won intermediate dogs with excellent and got BD3 + CC, Saxon was 2nd in Open dog with excellent and Minttu was 2nd in Junior bitch with very good. Together they took home BOB Breeder's Group :-) This was the 1st CC for Saurus and also the 1st indoor show for Minttu who truely enjoyed her day out and was at home in the big hall :-) Big thanks to the homecrews of Aatos and Saxon for well conditioned dogs and to Miia, Anne, Sanna and Johanna for all the help with the dogs during the show. Special thanks to "the other" Sanna for her help during the show and for keeping me company during the travel.

Selmalla oli eilen nakkikakkupäivä syntymäpäivien kunniaksi. Neljä vuotta tuli täyteen:-)

Selma had a sausagecake yesterday. She is now 4 yrs old :-)

Porthos on eilen voittanut Maailman Voittaja 2006 näyttelyssä upeasti nuorten luokan ja sijoittunut tittelistä kilpailtaessa kunniakkaalle kolmannelle sijalle (epävirallinen). Kyseessä on yksi upeimmista Suomessa kasvatetun bullmastiffin sijoituksista MV -tasolla vuosiin. Näyttelyyn oli ilmoitettu yli 130 bullmastiffia joten sertin ottaminen kyseisessä porukassa on melkoinen saavutus! Tuomari: Peter Montfoort

Porthos has won intermediate class in the World Winner 2006 show yesterday and placed unofficially to the 3rd place when competing for the title (only the first two placements are officially recognized). This is one of the best placements at this level for a Finnish bred bulmastiff for ages. To be able to get a CC from a show with over 130 entries is quite an achievement! Big thanks to judge Peter Montfoort for this wonderful day :-)

Sauruksen silmät on tarkastettu tänään ja silmät ovat virallisesti terveet. Samalla kuvattiin lonkat mutta tuloksia niiden osalta joutuu vielä hieman odottamaan.

Saurus had his eyes checked today and they are officially healthy. Saurus was also hipscored but the results are yet to come.

Sauruksesta tuli 14.10.06 Kiva Koirakansalainen. Kahdeksan bullmastiffia osallistui Helsingissä järjestettyyn testiin ja tällä kertaa saimme kolme uutta Kivaa Koirakansalaista. Kasvateistani oli Sauruksen lisäksi mukana Urho ja myös Selma osallistui mutta ei päässyt läpi koska yritti pussailla liikaa tuomaria. Tällä kertaa ylenpalttinen ystävällisyys ei ollut se oikea tie mutta yritämme uudestaan josko saisimme aikaan hieman hillitymmän esiintymisen :-) Kiitos Minna & Urho hyvästä yrityksestä. Myöhemmin yritetään uudelleen, eikö vaan ;-)

Saurus is Canine Good Citizen :-) Eight bullmastiffs took part to a test  the 14th October in Helsinki and Saurus was one of the three whose behavior was in all parts worth the title. Urho was also among those attending and so was Selma who didn't quite make it since she tried to kiss the judge too many times. We'll try again next year and try to keep Selma's friendly nature and kisses at check :-) Thanks to Minna & Urho for a good try. Let's try again, right?

We finally got Saxon's official hip & elbow scores. Hips are D/D, no arthrosis and elbows 1/0.

Bullmastiffit ja Mastiffit ry:n Huvitoimikunta järjesti harrastuspäivän Nousiaisissa 09.09.06. Ohjelmassa oli hakuharrastukseen tutustuminen. Olin ohjaamassa päivää ja Selma ja Saurus sekä Minttu osallistuivat. Kiitos Miia maastosta sekä Mintun ohjaamisesta.
Bullmastiffituomareiksi haluaville järjestettin kollegio 06.09.06. Meiltä paikalle oli kutsuttu Aatos ja Saurus. Kiitos Annen äidille Aatoksen kuljettamisesta sekä Minnalle Sauruksen esittämisestä.

Finnish Bullmastiff & Mastiff Association organized a "get to know Search & Rescue" day in Nousiainen the 9th September, 2006. I helped people to get acquinted with the subject and Selma, Saurus & Minttu took part. Thank you Miia for the place and working with Minttu. Judges interested in getting rights to judge bullmastiffs took their test the 6th September, 2006. Aatos and Saurus had been invited to be judged. Thank you goes to Anne's Mom for Aatos' transportation and to Minna for handling Saurus.

Matkustin Englantiin jossa vierailin Oldwellilla ja Birminghamin näyttelyssä. Oli ihanaa käydä taas moikkaamassa kaikki Oldwell koirat. Birminghamin näyttelyssä esittämäni Optimus Charlotte of Oldwell sijoittui mukavasti kolmanneksi Limit bitch -luokassa. Selman sisko (eri pentue), Oldwell Aphra, voitti Open bitch -luokan ja sai varasertin. Tuomari: Elina Haapaniemi

Went to England and visited The Oldwells and Birmingham CH show. It was lovely to meet all the dogs Ann has. Birmingham CH show went well. I handeled Optimus Charlotte of Oldwell to 3rd place in Limit bitch and Selma's sister (different litter), Oldwell Aphra, won Open bitch and got RCC. Judge: Elina Haapaniemi
While I was in England, Hilja showed Porthos in Padise, Estonia with super results. Porthos won intermediate dogs with excellent and was best dog, BOB and finally BIG1 :-) BIG BIG CONGRATULATIONS HILJA & PORTHOS!!

Wiivi, Minttu ja Porthos osallistuivat Eestin Voittaja 2006 näyttelyyn Tallinnassa Virossa 19.08.2006. Minttu oli hienosti ROP-pentu. Porthokselle NUO ERI1 PU2 VACA ja Wiiville AVO ERI1 PN4. Tuomari: Seamus Oates, Irlanti.
Hyvin siis sujui vaikka sää oli erittäin kuuma. Kiitos Miia koirien kuljettamisesta sekä matkaseurasta ja onnittelut Mintun hyvästä tuloksesta. Õnnesoov Hilja sinule ja Porthosel.

Wiivi, Minttu and Porthos were shown in Estonian Winner 2006 the 19th August, 06 in Tallinn, Estonia. Minttu did very well and got BOB-puppy. Porthos won intermediate dogs with excellent and ended up 2nd BD with resCACIB. Wiivi won open bitch with excellent and finished 4th BB. Judge: Seamus Oates, Ireland
We had a good time despite the very hot weather. Thank you Miia for helping with the transportation and being such a good travel companion. Congratulations for Minttu's good results. Congratulation to Porthos and Hilja as well.

Travelled to Latvia with Selma and Porthos for the Ozolnieki INT show the 12th August, 2006. Mother and son made us proud! Porthos won intermediate dogs with excellent and got BD CC CACIB & BOB. Selma won champion bithc and was BB with CC CACIB BOS LT & BALT CH :-) Judge: Seamus Oates, Ireland

Selma ja Porthos osallistuivat KV näyttelyyn Vilnassa, Liettuassa 05.08.2006. Selmalle VAL ERI1 PN1 SERTI CACIB Liettuan & KANS (odottaa FCIn hyväksyntää) MVA ja Porthokselle NUO ERI1 SERTI CACIB. Tuomari: Marek Grabkowski, Puola.

Selma and Porthos were shown in Vilnius INT, Lithuania the 5th August, 2006. Selma won champion bitch and got BB, CC, CACIB and became LTU & INT CH (waits for FCI approval). Porthos won intermediated dogs and took dog CC & CACIB. Judge: Marek Grabkowski, Poland. The next day both dogs were shown in the Lithuanian speciality. Selma took the bitch CC and is Lithuanian Molossen Winner 2006. Porthos took the dog CC and is also Lithuanian Molossen Winner 2006. Judge: Rajko Rotner, Slovenia.

Elämäni koira Sylvi on nukkunut ikiuneen sylissäni 27.7.2006. Suru on suunnaton - yhteiset muistot elävät ikuisesti.

Once in a lifetime dog Sylvi has passed away on my lap the 27th July, 2006. The grief is overwhelming - our memories will live forever.

Saurus on 21.6.06 suorittanut pelastuskoiraliiton VSS soveltuvuuskokeen raunioilla! Saurus onnistui erittäin hyvin kokeen tottelevaisuusosiossa. Kokeen aikana Saurus ei reagoinut mitenkään ammuntaan joka suoritettiin sekä tottelevaisuuden että raunioetsinnän aikana. Saurusta ei häirinnyt etsinnän aikana myöskään melu eikä savu. Liikkuminen pimeässä maan alla L-putkessa sujui hyvin ja ketteryyskoe onnistui myös ihan ok. Raunioilla suoritettu etsintä ei tällä kertaa ollut ihan parasta Saurusta sillä +29 C lämpö hidasti vauhtia.
SUURI kiitos kaikille teille, jotka olette jaksaneet olla maalimiehinä koirilleni sateessa ja paisteessa.

Saurus has passed his aptitude test for debris search (ruins) the 21th June, 2006. His obedience was a pleasure to watch and he didn't mind smoke, gunshots or loud noise while at work. He worked well underground and cleared the obstacles okay. We didn’t see quite the best of Saurus while working the actual ruins due to extremely hot weather of 29C.
BIG thanks to everyone who has helped me acheive this by working with us rain or shine.

Minttu aloitti näyttelyuransa tänään Turussa match showssa 4,5 kk ikäisenä. Tuloksena pentuluokassa hienosti punainen nauha sekä 5 vuotiaan Miisan esittämänä lapsi & koira kisassa upeasti kolmas sija. Kyseessä oli myös Miisan ensiesiintyminen kehässä ja heti suoraan palkintosijalle :-) Isot onnittelut molemmille!

Minttu has began her show career today in a match show in Turku at 4,5 months old. She won her pair in puppy class and was handled to 3rd place in child & dog competition by Miisa who is 5 yrs old. This was also Miisa's first appearance in the ring and straight away a placement :-) Big congratulations to both!

Aatos won Ch dogs with excellent, BD2 and ResCacib and Wiivi took her 1st CC and CACIB from intermediate bitch with excellent and finished with Best Bitch and BOS! Urhon Minna osallistui Suomen Pelastuskoiraliiton Kouluttajaksi -kurssille ja välitti ystävällisesti koulutusmateriaalin myös minulle. Ryhdymme molemmat kouluttamaan ESPY:n raunioilla kunhan kausi starttaa. Tsemppiä Minna!

Minna who owns Urho took part to Finnish Association of SAR Dogs’ Train the Trainer -course. We’ll both start as trainers for Espoo SAR Dogs when the season begins. Good job Minna!

Selma on palannut treeneihin äitiysloman jälkeen ja aloitti tänään tokotreenit Hiiden Haukkujen kanssa. Myös Saurus aloitti tokotreenit tauon jälkeen.

Selma is "back in business" after her maternity leave. She began obedience training with Hiiden Haukut today. Saurus is also back in obedience training after the break.

Saxon, Tauno ja Urho kävivät virallisessa silmätarkastuksessa. Kaikkien silmät todettiin terveiksi perinnöllisten sairauksien osalta. Taunolta löytyi muutama ylimääräinen ripsi ja Urholta toisen silmän ulkoreunasta pienenpieni kohta jossa muutama pistemäinen muutos jotka eivät kuitenkaan vaikuta Urhon näkökykyyn. Kiitos Sanna ja Minna kun toitte Taunon ja Urhon tarkastukseen.

Saxon, Tauno and Urho had their official eye examination done. All are cleared for hereditary eye defects. Tauno had couple of extra eyelashes and Urho had few miniature spots in outer corner of one eye with no effect on his sight. Thanks Sanna and Minna for bringing Tauno and Urho to be examined.

Saxon, Tauno and Urho had their official eye examinations. All had healthy eyes as far as heriditary eye diseases go. Tauno had couple of extra eyelashes and Urho a tiny place in the side of one of his eyes with very tiny shading that does not affect Urho's eyesight. Thank you Sanna and Minna for bringing Tauno and Urho for the examination.

Saxon ja Wiivi osallistuivat eilen Turun KV näyttelyyn loistavin tuloksin. Saxon voitti junioriluokan ERIllä ja sijoittui PU2 sijalle varasertin kanssa. Wiivi oli junioriluokassa toinen ERIllä ja sijoittui PN3 sijalle varasertin kanssa. Tuomari: Bela Siklosi, Unkari

Saxon and Wiivi were shown in Turku INT yesterday with great results. Saxon won junior dogs with excellent and ended up 2nd BD with RCC. Wiivi was 2nd in junior bitch with excellent and finished 3rd BB with RCC. Judge: Bela Siklosi, Unkari

Vuoden 2006 näyttelykausi avattiin eilen Lahdessa. Saxon voitti junioriluokan EH:lla ja oli arvostelun mukaan mm. "lupaava alku" :-) Tuomari: Kirsi Laamanen
